Little Prince is back!

After a rather long time, Little Prince is finally home again!  He spent the better part of May and all of June/July over at his father's house.  He didn't have as much fun as his other family would have thought and called to come home lots, but we both made it through somehow.  Next year I'll make sure he isn't gone as long so that he doesn't get too sad.  We're just all happy that he's back.  Sir moved in while he was away and he found that to be a delightful surprise.

So, Little Prince has to be going away for the summer.  I'm going to miss him very much and he's going to miss me I know.  He didn't want to go, but sometimes we have to do things in life we really don't want to.  He got to take some of his favorite things with him so he'd be more comfortable. We had lunch at Paradise Bakery before he left, but it wasn't the best. I won't be making any new posts until Little Prince gets back, so this is toodles for a temporary hiatus...

Early Birthday Party!

Little Prince is turning five soon!  We had his birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese a few weeks early because Little Prince's dad will be taking him over the summer.  This will be the first birthday I've been without Little Prince, but I'll have to manage.  This isn't going to happen ever again though as long as my life depends on it.  We bought some Avengers themed items for the party and invited Kris' classmates, but only a few showed up for free food.  He got a few good presents like an Iron Man toy from his Grandma and a Iron Man disk shooter from me, but not much else.

Ouchies!

Little Prince and I have been having a crazy few days the last two weeks.  Preschool just ended a few days ago and there was a party that all the parents could attend.  Little Prince had to go and run around the classroom after being asked to stop multiple times.  In the end, he fell into the rocking chair in the play area and gave himself a rather bad black eye that is finally going down.  On the plus side, we just saw one of those charity trucks for children outside of WalMart and bought some hotdogs and mountain dew to enjoy while waiting for the bus back to the apartment.  Little Prince's birthday party is coming up soon and he couldn't be more excited.

First Dentist Visit!

Little Prince went to the dentist for the first time ever today.  We've never had the money to go before so it was a bit of a shock.  Cavities of coarse were in his future, but he was at least happy with a balloon.  He has another appointment set up after this which he isn't too happy about.

After going to the dentist, I noticed there was an In-N-Out Burger right next to it.  I've never been to one before and being from California that's rather odd.  Little Prince insisted on eating there, so we did.  We ordered some plain burgers, fries to split and some milkshakes and they were delicious!

Shopping for Sir!

Little Prince and Mommy decided to venture out and go shopping today.  He ended up getting candy all over his face and convinced me to buy him these odd chips I vaguely remember from my childhood.  I need him to help me pick up some things for Sir's birthday.  Who is Sir?  The man from the accidental meeting.  Little Prince seems to like him rather well.

Accidental Meeting!

On Ostara, Little Prince's Mommy had to go to work after all the fun.  Because the bus was late, she went to the next stop over to wait.  Doing so, she met someone who she hadn't planned on.  And as of March 29th, they became instant lovebirds.  Now today the new person met Little Prince on accident!  They seem to be doing just fine as this new person is the one pushing Little Prince on the swings.

First Day of Preschool!

Little Prince finally got accepted into preschool!  He has to go rather far away for classes, but it's worth it.  I know that he will do just fine... or at least I hope so!

Ostara Blessings!

Today is Ostara, so that means eggs, candy and yummy mid-spring feasting.  Little Prince got a basket of goodies that was handmade by me - the basket, not the prizes inside.  He was super excited about today, but sadly lack of funds meant a tiny dinner instead of a feast.

Shopping Trip

Little Prince somehow convinced me to buy him a toy while we were out shopping today.  I bought him a tractor to play with his mini tubs of playdough I decided he needed.  I just hope he doesn't make a huge mess.

Dining

Little Prince and I ended up finding the nicest little table the other day.  I plan on making it into a kotatsu when I have the time, but as for now it's just our little dining table.  I also found a nice cabinet that I will be using as Little prince's bookshelf.  I might use some space for me as well.

Little Prince and I convinced grandma to take us grocery shopping at the Asian food store near her house.  When we were leaving, I decided to get a boba tea shake and Little Prince decided that it was his.

The Big Move!

Today Little Prince and I got to see our new apartment!  His aunt had to go to a doctor's appointment, so Grandma ended up just dropping us off with his toy bag so that we'd have something to do while she was out.  He was rather excited about all of this, but still needs to learn that he isn't always going to get his way and that he can't run in circles when we live on the second floor.  He was very happy about the location though.  It's going to take Mommy another minute or two to get to the bus stop, but our apartment is right in front of the playground.  He couldn't play on it today because of all of the rain, but he'll get to once we move in.  We just have to get the rest of our things moved and buy some new furniture first!  Today's outfit is his mouse pajamas that his Great Grandma sent him for Christmas.

Chuck E. Cheese

Yesterday was Little Prince's first time to Chuck E. Cheese!  He had such a blast.  It was also his first time riding the bus and he was pretty good about that too.  We bought about 25 tokens and he wanted to play all the games on the left side of the store first and ran out of tokens after making it to the right side, though our pizza came so it was fine.  After eating a bit, he wanted to play some more and lucky him got about another 50 tokens to use.  He didn't trade in his tickets for anything, but he still had lots of fun.  I took so many pictures of him that I wasn't sure which to use, but I picked the monster because he road it so many times and him eating.  As for the shirt being something other than red stripes... You can't tell too well because of all the noise in the picture that I couldn't cancel out, but he's wearing his pirate skull hoodie.

Before going to Chuck E. Cheese, we stopped off at the mall for a little and got an apple snow cone from a really nice local.  He was really cute and I think I might end up stopping off there every Friday to see if his shop is there and just chat with him.  Little Prince's mommy needs some love too!  Besides that, Little Prince managed to stuff a good bit of the medium pizza in his tummy.  That and some lemonade.  He kept asking for apple pizza and for some reason I didn't know they sold it, though he's never been here before so I'm not sure how he knew that.  I might get him one next time, but one thing is for sure.  We'll need to get a smaller pizza next time!  I'm just happy he had so much fun and interacted with other little kids so well.  He even made a 'best friend' for the day because they both liked Marvel superheros and Cars.

Lunch Time

Hoorah for shopping trips!  I cannot remember for the life of me the original reason for us leaving the house today, but Grandma ended up needing to go somewhere and said she'd be a minute and took probably two hours.  In that time, Little Prince and I went back over to Lee Lee's and picked up about $15 in groceries.  We even got this hot and ready chicken bites that were really good.  I let him pick everything out so I could be "told you so!" if anything was bad instead of making him eat stuff.  He actually is a rather adventurous little booger and picked out some foods I wouldn't have even dared.  All-in-all though what we had for lunch was really good.  I'm going to be posting a new shirt each time now.  This weeks is Caution Dragons on the Loose! that we picked out last Friday while shopping.

Apartment Found!

Oh dear goodness.  Again it's red striped shirt day, though not a Monday.  Why is Little Prince so extra smiles today?  It's because we just found our new apartment!  We are moving in on the 20th of February this year and couldn't be happier.  I don't have many problems with where we are now, though I could do without Grandma's random tantrums, cussing, shouting and know-it-all behavior.  I'm sure that Little Prince would be happier without all those things as well.

We haven't gone back to Lee Lee's yet!  It's been a really long time, but we still have groceries from there!  I didn't think that a tiny $70 could last us this long, but it has.  We are almost out though, finally.  I'm not sure what we'll get this time, but it will be just as yummy.

Haircut!

While I was at work today, Little Prince went with Grandma to get his hair cut.  He looks good either way, but his hair was getting a little too poofy to really manage.  He just seems to have rather curly hair like me and on boys that just turns into a curly afro after a while instead of going down.  No, haven't got those new shirts for him yet, but I will be doing so next week for sure.  This is a rather cute "Bugs Rule!" shirt that he already had though and picked out himself.  Luckily it was something else other than that striped horror we keep seeing him wear.  I might just end up hiding the other shirt after a while.

Yan Yan Mmm...

Yes, this is a picture from a different day and yes, I just noticed after posting this that he decided to put the same shirt on.  Mondays are apparently red stripe shirt day.  I wish he would have notified me of that last week so I could have taken a picture on a different day.  I'm going to buy him new shirts soon (even though he already has over twenty and still manages to pick this one almost every day).  I just hope he'll like them enough to wear them for a picture.  He's snacking on some chocolate Yan Yan we bought at Lee Lee's two weeks ago.  Yes, we still have food from there and I'm just as surprised.  We are almost out of groceries and this is probably the longest time we've had things last.  Little Prince is going to be getting a hair cut here soon, so you'll get to see an entirely new look for him come next week!

Hi-Chew!

Little Prince is super excited today.  He had lots of fun being overly hyper today and was relatively noisy.  We keep failing on apartment searches and he asks when we'll get a new 'small house' as he calls them, but I don't know how to honestly answer that question.

As you can see, the little guy has some apple Hi-Chews in his hand.  One of the many purchases we made at Lee Lee's the other week.  They really have a huge selection and we amazingly still have a good bit of food, so not sure when we'll be going back again, but he loved it there.  If we get low on food, we'll go next week, but I'm not sure.  Yes, his shirt has been washed in the last week, he just really really loves wearing this one for some reason.

Excitement

Alright, so today Little Prince is super excited because we are going out for the first time in a while.  My mother noted that there is an Asian food market here and I wanted to check it out seeing as I'm not a huge fan of anything else.

We went out, came back and wow!  It was a really great place.  We checked out everything and decided this has to be our one-stop grocery shopping place.  Little Prince even picked out some yummy snacks.  His favorite was a Kappa container full of fruit flavored coconut jelly.  We'll be back here in another week or so more than likely, though we did get a lot of food.

Orange Duck

Alright, so I think I've began to get a feel for how this blog is going to be handled now and I'm going to do my best to post once or twice a week.  The Little Prince was rather hyper the past few days and decided to do some normal goofing off.  It was cute, but he could have behaved a little better.  We're having trouble finding a school for him, but I won't give up.  If I had the time, I really would like to home school him, but I'd need someone at home to watch him while I'm at work.  He's a handful, so I know that part is going to be hard.

Popsicle

So here we are, it's been a few days since I last posted and Little Prince is doing just wonderful.  He's still the same hyperactive little one that he was earlier and has been getting into trouble over and over again.  He hasn't been out of the house much since we moved seeing as he's not good in public settings, but I think I'm actually going to take him out for once here sometime.  Not sure where yet, I just know I'm going to do it.  I also have to get him use to walking around in public so that he knows the dos and don'ts.  The last thing we need is an accident.

Adventures of Little Prince

Little Prince is a four year old, rambunctious boy who likes to get into more trouble than the average child.  I love him anyways.  HE doesn't have any pets, but he doesn't play well with them anyways.  Besides cats, he loves cats more than any animal in the world.  He'll eat just about anything you hand him if you tell him that mommy made it.  He's obsessed with saying "Merry Christmas" all the time, even though it's not that time of year anymore and we're Pagan.  He also is in love with the color green, anything sweet and green apples.  We're a tiny family for now, but hopefully that will change later in the year.
